Help for Regarding Passport / Application

Dear All,

I want to apply in October for Tier-1, and I need your help in this regard, I have few questions. Your cooperation would be highly appreciated:

Question # 1: I just came to US and I am on H1 to US can I apply from US for the Tier-1 when I am not in my original native country (where as all my bank statements and earnings are from my native country, not the US)?

Question # 2: I have a non machine readable passport valid for more than six months, can i apply on the non machine readable passport for the tier-1 visa?

Question # 3: How much is the processing time for the approval? What if I need the passport during the processing?


Please clarify my queries.
