Questions regarding FLR (M) renewal

Post by samgam23 » Mon Dec 21, 2020 1:26 pm

Hi Everyone.

Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone on this forum who helped me with relevant advice on my first FLR (m). As it's been 2.5 years since, I am now preparing to renew my FLR (m), which is due to expire on 16Jan21. My initial visa was granted on 16July18. I have just entered my 28 days period to submit and pay for my application.

I need some advice on the documents I need to submit for the renewal. Below is what I have collected so far and I intend to submit my application as soon as I am certain that I'm not missing any relevant documents or if I need to obtain more.

1) Financial requirement (Category A)
-payslips - 6months July20 to December20 (with letter from employer) - applicant (me)
-Corresponding 6month bank statements showing salary (Natwest) - applicant. The branch I went to printed out 2 sets of statements and stamped only the front page and signed). However, they could not print out anything more than 6 months and did not stamp the online PDF statements I had printed out. I wanted to spread out my statements every 3-4 months after the initial 6 months for address/ cohab proof. So I have two sets of statements with my name, address and account number in different formats. Would it be okay to submit them?
2) CoHab
Documents I have so far :
-Rest of the Natwest online PDF statements, going back till November 2018 to cover the 2 year period (unstamped).
- Joint account statements (TSB) with both applicant and wife's name till November 2019 and then individual names prior to that going back to December 2018. Not sure what happened at the beginning.
- Utility bills (Eon/ broadband / Water) Every few months, going back to Oct/ Nov 2018.
- Council tax ebills (few in my wife's name and a few in my name)
- Solo letters addressed to my wife and myself from council tax/ HMRC / NHS to the same address.
-Pension letters - my name
- Tv license - Wife's name
- Wife's bank statements (Santander) unstamped - PDF downloads, going back 2 years. Spread out evenly.
-Purchase of car in my wife's name along with insurance and road tax.
-Travel insurance in my wife's name.
-Credit card letters/ statements - (posted) in my wife's name.
-HO letter in my wife's name from 2017 when she received her PR.
-Election poll cards in both our names.
-Wife's student loan letter.
-Wife's Student confirmation letter from Uni.
-Wife's mobile phone contract start letter.
3) Accommodation
- Tenancy agreement dated Nov2017 with two renewals in-between.
4) English language - Doctoral degree certificate from UK university.

In addition, copies of every page on my passport and BRP. Copies of every page on my wife's passport (EU) along with her PR.

All the above mentioned documents go back to at least October 2018 (starting with December 2020). The only consistently available document we have so far are our bank statements, which we can provide every few months. All other documents are interspersed in between. Due to this, some months we have a lot of documents, some of the months it's just our bank statements. However, every single month is covered with some document or the other going back to October 2018.

Would following such a format of collecting and submitting document be okay? Secondly, regarding the bank statements, if we are unable to get them stamped, would it be okay to submit the online PDF (unstamped)?

Please, do let me know as I am at a loss with regards to the bank statements and the documents that we currently have. With Christmas and New years around the corner, it would be a task trying to get more documents and I hope the ones I have now will be sufficient.

Looking forward to everyones feedback

Kind regards.

Just a gentle bump, since I never got any responses on this (not that I feel entitled to any). Really only looking for feedback on my documents now. Thank you so so much in advance if anyone gives any input!
