PSW Can someone help me please PSW

Post by lostlost2008 » Wed Sep 24, 2008 10:38 am

Hello,
I have some questions about PSW, wonder someone can advice me. I am wiating for dissertation results for a MA in a university.

I am going to apply psw in october when i get my results:

1. Funds - I will only have 800 pounds this month onwards.
- Do i have to have 800 every month for 3 months?
2. How many months of bank statement do i have to produce?
3. Do i need to have extra money for the fees or can i use the bank balance i.e. 800 that they need to pay for the fees?
4.Can i know go to anywhere else except London Home office to apply personally?
5. Is PSW a straightforward application? How long will it take if i go to ho directly.
6. Will HO give straight 2 years PSW visa?
7. what is the different between PG cert and dip?
8. I extended by student visa for 4 months, now that i have completed my dissertation and i am just waiting for results, can i work more than 20 hours eventhough i extended student visa.?
9.
Many thanks.

1 and 2 - Read Tier 1 (PSW) policy guidance
3 - 800 pounds over and above the application fees.
4 - Already answered (see post above).
5 - Tier 1 is no rocket science.
6 - Read policy guidance.
7 - Read A brief guide to academic qualifications
8 - If you are still on student visa, why would you be allowed to work for more than the permitted hours?
