HR background check call & NARIC listing of university.

Hello friends,

I plan to submit my application sometime in mid / end of october. I have reading this forum for sometime and appreciate the wealth of knowledge shared here.

I have 2 questions,

1. I read that HRs will get calls for backgroud checks, is this really the case ? I am just a little wary about this, as I am planning to get my 12 months payslips signed by my HR. My colleague told me that he got his payslips signed saying that he needs it for a bank loan, I was thinking of using the same reason too.

Now if VFS or UKBA calls the HR, then it'll be obvious. I just want to know if this is really the case ?

2. I read in the policy guidelines, that if my university of education is listen in NARIC site, then I don't have to bother getting a approval from NARIC or anything. However, my colleague (inspite of having his university, which is the same as mine, listed in NARIC, is planning to get the official confirmation from NARIC by paying the appropriate fee). He says, it's better to get it done, to be on the safer side. I however feel this is unnecessary, as it is clearly mentioned in the policy guidelines. Can one of you advice on this, please ?

1. Your employer may receieve a call from IntegraScreen, the organization which does background checks for BHC). If they do call (or email), they will clearly mention the reason / purpose of the verification. Be advised, in some rare cases IntegraScreen even makes personal visits to offices - if they deem it necessary!

2. You may want it to do it for your own peace of mind, but a letter from NARIC is not required if your qualification is listed in the points-based calculator.

Hi Sush,
If any body apply from India, To support the earnings
Pay Slips, Bank Statements and Letter from Employee are sufficient or is there any mandotory condition to submit the Income tax returns?

Some guys are planning to Apply for Tier1 from india but they changed 3 employees in one year(due to good offers) and a confusion in these 3 employers in filing the income tax retunrs...

One guy was in hospital for 9 months and started working from March 09 onwards and he is getting required points with 7 months salary(age and Phd is helping him getting 60 points...) so can he apply with out income tax returns? how are the chances?
