Sponsor for UK spouse visa while out of the UK

Hope you are keeping well.

I am a british citizen and planning to apply for spouse visa for my wife while I am abroad. I know that I need to provide bank statements which has to be originals or stampted at the bank I believe. I don't know if HO will be accepting electronic copy. Is there anyone tried with electronic copy or can confirm with some source if that will be Ok just to provide electronic copy.

Dear all,

I really really appreciate the feedback i have got from this forum so far.

I am a british citizen and planning to apply for spouse visa for my wife while I am abroad with my wife. I have been abroad since last year lockdown in March. Although i was panning to come back to the UK but I stayed further abroad due to corona virus situation. Also travelling back to country from the UK is ban at the moment. So, I am planning to apply for my wife spouse visa and so we come back to the UK together and not be worried about what's going on in terms for border closer.

Please can someone advise if this is OK for me to apply for spouse while I am still out of the UK. However, I have home in the UK. So, that's not an issue. My concern is just that I am out of the UK for sometime now.
