Spouse visa questions

Post by Jamikc » Thu Feb 11, 2021 7:14 am

Hi
I just wanted to know if anybody could help in answering my questions. It’s been driving me crazy!!!

1- I applied thru PIP and esa for my wife’s spouse visa, is that ok?
2- I was asked for 8 weeks to submit more medical evidence in receipt of PIP , which I did? Is that normal,?
3- 9th week we both got email to attend phone interview about our relationship. Total time for interview 15mins . Very basic quest about our wedding , home, family ect. Our answers were the same.

Is that all the checks done now , I mean was the interview the last checking they had to do?

When possibly could they now get back to us?

Many thanks

1. Claiming PIP & ESA are both fine which makes you exempt from meeting the financial requirement but must meet adequate maintenance.

2. It is perfectly normal as per Page 13 Evidence Flexibility for them to ask for certain evidence in the event the one you scanned previously was damaged or not clear etc.

3. It's hard to say whether all checks have been carried out so therefore just wait to hear from them.
