Extra Financial proof

Post by Marloncandido » Thu Feb 25, 2021 9:59 am

Hi there, gonna make this a short one.

I'm applying to a spouse visa under the sponsorship of my fiance, who's a British citizen.
We meet the financial requirements through her job, but we also have some cash savings that we are not sure we can use. I have some savings in my Brazilian bank account but don't have the translated bank statements, my fiance's got money on premium bonds, etc.

Do you believe we shouldn't send the extra proof since we already meet the requirements through her job or is it never bad to send some extra proof just in case??

Thanks a lot everyone!!

When i did my fiance visa and initial Spousal visa applications. I did include my savings, stock-holdings etc in UK and abroad, even though my wife's income more than meet the financial requirement.

I have also just applied for my FLR-M renewal and even though my salaried income more than met the financial requirement. I still included my side income, savings and stock-holdings (i have now been told it is irrelevant but i just always like to show the true state of my finance and i hope this will be ok too like the previous applications).

If income is met through employment, no need to complicate things by adding another savings it could confuse the caseworker.
