Returning OLD BRPs?

Post by Zain Ali » Tue Mar 02, 2021 12:16 pm

Hello guys just a simple question that my family has received our new brps after ILR so can I return the old ones altogether in one envelope or will it cause problems so should I do it separately. Thank you.

Souvenirs?
No no 😂. I might keep the ILR ones after citizenship but not these ones. SO should I sent them in one envelope or separate?

Is there a requirement to send them anywhere?

Yes sir it says that I must return any replacement brp or a brp with a previous grant of leave and if I don't then I will get a £1000 penalty. It does give an address.

Okay, Thanks. Just return them as instructed. Did they specify that you cannot send them together? Keep proof of posting.

I guess for security reasons, the University of Leicester advised:
If you previously had a BRP, then you need to return it to the Home Office. You should cut the BRP card into half and post it to the following address, in a plain windowless envelope.

No, it does not state a specific way to send it or anything like that rather just say to send it.
