First Child Passport Application Delay

Hello Everyone,

Our first child application has been in processing stage since 24 february and still no news til now..
I am a Non-EEA National holding a pre-settled status and soon will apply for settled status, my wife an EEA National holds settled status.
When applying online as we were a bit confused we have sent only the identity confirmation form from my manager and birth certificate of our baby (born in the UK) we have not included anything else as we were thinking that they will know that the baby has been born while the mum holds settled status which makes the baby automatically british citizen.
After a week the caseworker sent us a letter asking for proof of indefinite leave to remain or settled status from one of us which we did sent the sharing code the same day and delivered the next day.
After a week I called them to check if everything is ok and the caseworker got the letter, they didnt know much but my wife had a call from the caseworker asking for confirmation of our status and ref numbers. And since then we don't have any news. We don't know what to do.. maybe we have made it wrong since the beginning..
