Disability Living allowance

Post by happytrish40 » Mon Oct 06, 2008 11:39 am

I am getting really worried as I have to apply for my extension of Discretionary leave, based on my marriage. The thing is I have been given conflicting advice. My daughter is Born in the Uk her dad is british. She has heart problems and a number of other health ills. She has a condition called noonans syndrome. I have claimed DLA for her, I have been told by the home office today that you could only claim if you have been given ILR. The DWP told me that it will be based on the child and would not affect me, when I apply for an extension. Who should I believe, should I give it back.
