Awaiting allocation to a caseworker

Post by Echinol » Wed Apr 14, 2021 4:31 pm

Hi all,

I was reading on this forum and just wanna ask experienced member here a question. I just sent an email to home office about an update for my application and I received an email yesterday saying my case is awating allocation to a caseworker. Anyone with the same experience got reply how many days later after this answer?

Many thanks.

No one can really answer how long will it take. The standard service is 6 months. Each application goes through a pre assessment and number of enquiries. Once the enquiries are completed it is allocated to the CW.

This could also be an automated response also.

My wife had a similar response (6 months after she enquired) and her application was approved within 5 days after the same response. However, many members reported not receiving decisions quickly even after this response. So really it is random.
