PLEASE HELP!!Pre-settle applications from outside the UK as family

Hi Everyone,

I am very soon going to have a child in the UK and my mother would like to come from Spain and live/work in the UK so she can also help me with baby.

Currently she is living in Spain but in October she will have a grandchild born in the UK plus I already have my settlement as I have been living/working in the UK since 2007

I've looked on the Gov.UK website and all I can find is that she will need to apply first to a EU scheme and after this she can come live/work in the UK nd apply for the pre-settle once living in the UK?

Has anyone done this before or have more information than the one I have? I also read that perhaps she may be able to apply to the pre-settle before 26June from Spain as family member as I already have my settlement.

If she is a non EU citizen living in Spain she can apply for the EUSS family permit to come over and then apply for EU pre settlement however you or your partner has to be an EU person with the pre settled status. EU citizens had to have been in the UK and applied for the settlement Scheme before 31 December 2020 but others here can expand more on this. EU citizens from January 1st ,2021 have to apply for a visa to enter the UK.

She is already a EU citizen as she is Spanish , the question is if she is able to still apply for the UK pre-settlement as I understand until the end on June as she have family living in the UK. I have the UK settlement and she will soon have a British grand child so I am not sure what type of benefit if any is there for her to be able to live and work in the UK

This entitles to entry into the UK - after arrival apply for pre-settled.
