spouse and son's visa renewal - FLR - 3 year Visa - ILR

Post by dontworry » Sun May 02, 2021 8:41 am

Hi All,

First of all, thank you for your help in the previous years.

I am on a settlement visa after a 10-year route, my wife and son's visa is expiring on August 2021 after 30 months. I only realise the visa expiry last month.
I have 3 kids, one is British and for newborn last month, we are applying for a British passport.
We both are employed by my company, during the covid we both reduced salary to £11k,
from last month onwards I have gone back to my £28k salary, wife salary stays at £11k.

Do I need to maintain a minimum amount in the account?
Can I show the accountant letter stating dividends for the 2019-2020 year?
Due to corona is there any change in the law?
Any help is appreciated.
Many Thanks

Do I need to maintain a minimum amount in the account? There is no minimum amount to be kept the in account, HO is not interested in bank balance, its more of your income corroborated by payslips and bank statements.
Can I show the accountant letter stating dividends for the 2019-2020 year? Under what category are you intending to apply? Since you mentioned your employer earlier and now talking of dividends? Furlough income take into consideration.
Due to corona is there any change in the law? Other than accepting Furlough salary due to covid-19.
Any help is appreciated.
Many Thanks
