Good character requirement

Hi I have ILR on refugee status. In 2012 made an application with TOIEC. I done life in uk and B1 test . I meet all other requirements for naturalisation . When I apply for naturalisation will this effect my application as a good character requirement? Naturalisation fee quite a lot for me as I’m working part time at the moment. if application is refuse it’s non refundable ?Kindly assist me .

Were you an overstayer in UK or came to UK illegally in any previous 10 years?
If application is refused, you only get £80 back for the ceremony. £1250 (Total £1330 - £80) application fees + £19.20 biometrics fee is lost.

You should only apply for Naturalisation if you had a legal status in UK for the last 10 years. If not, wait till you reach 10 years from the date you became legal in UK.
