How to shift my delicate paintings?

I am relocating from Vancouver. I have many expensive paintings which need more care during travelling. Now, I am afraid it might get spoiled while transferring it to the new house. I have been taking care of it well, and now I am really worried about its safety while shifting. While surfing through the internet, I found some international packing and moving services. Should I hire professional movers? Will that be a good option??
