Brexit - moving to Germany

hi please help me thanks,
1 i tried to immigrate to germany on december 2020 ,and i rent a flat and even i register myself with germanlocal Einwohnermeldeamt (Residence Registration Office).

after that i came back uk to wind up my business , and covid happend in march and i couldnt travel back to germany since than due to my business commitments in uk .
i paid rent for over 3 months in germany while i was absent from germany .

my Question is can i still apply for residence permit in germany?
i am a british citizen .
pleaseeeee helppp me ,as i want to move to germany

How many days did you spend in Germany?

Do you have somebody who forwards any mail that arrives at your German flat?
