Dependent Visa

Hi All,

Has anyone applied for student visa from India with dependent last year who can shed more info? Just wanted to know if there are any issue when visas are issued as in if the dependent visa is on hold and is granted after few days/months. I have my brother applying with his wife. All the visa conditions are met in terms of finance and other requirements. So just a bit paranoid as want both of them to come together .

Here's the doc list:
- CAS letrer
- 28 days finance requiremment
- proof of relationship
- passports
- photos
- Degree certs
- Employee letters

COS is for a worker application, CAS is for a Student application, but neither is a physical letter. They are code numbers that you include on the application.

I don't understand how an employer letter is relevant to a Student or dependant's visa application. Did the summary sheet say it was required?

Got confused but yeah they do have CAS number which is electronic generated doc. Employer letter is just an additional letter they are providing in case if HO ask what you've been doing after bachelors. WIil the visa be granted together if they apply together ?

Hi All,

My brother is soon going to apply for his student visa, he will also need his dependent with him and just before applying the agents are saying apply separately i.e get his visa first and then apply dependent visa after. So this had put us in a dilema as what to do should he apply together or separately ? All the docs are in place but this is the only thing that is bothering, could someone share their recent experience or guidacne where both applicant and dependent applied together and it was successful ?
