Confusing guestion on ILR application

I am applying for ILR and there is a question in the application which I don't understand: "Has your partner previously been sponsored as partner of settled person "

My spouse has British citizenship which he obtained based on his previous marriage.


Does that mean that I have to answer YES or the answer is NO

If anybody knows answer please let me know. I would really appreciate help.
