How far back do documents need to be ?

• Passport
  Settled Status BRC
  Referee forms
  LIUK test
  council tax bill ( how far back )
  Bank statements and Self assessment docs (how far back)
  Masters degree cert English language proficiency
  Mortgage letter (is this needed)
  Bank statement (if needed, how far back )

  Bank statements and Self assessment docs (how far back) bank statements not required - self-assessment current year
  Masters degree cert English language proficiency
  Mortgage letter (is this needed)no
  Bank statement (if needed, how far back )no
  
  Note there are no financial requirements - what you are proving is residency.

what if he doesn't have documentation for 5 yrs bills?
