Hi folks.
My wife spouse visa is going to expire in Aug 2021. She gets the initial 2 years 9 months spouse visa with A 1 English language test.
Now should she pass A2 or B1 ? which option is better? I heard that it's better to go for B1 as the same test result will be used for the ILR application.
Can someone also please send me the link for the Spouse visa extension guidance regarding documents.
Thanks

Thanks.I can see there are different providers for the B1 test. Any idea which provider is recommended or easy to pass ?

All have a set standard to meet. Try TCL Trinity College London.

Hi folks,
There is a question in the spouse visa extension FLR (M) online form as below :
Would your children be affected if your application was refused?
(Required)
If you do not have any children please select 'No'
I have 4 children (3 British and 1 non-British), So what should I reply here ..Please advise.
Thanks

We have one child (British) and ticked 'yes', adding what I am sure they expect people to write, that it would be hard on the child to be separated from his mother.
This seems to me a profile question - by that I mean if you answer as we did it makes zero difference to the application (as they also know it's true) but if you don't, it appears you are not 'serious' about the family or relationship and so will have your application looked at more deeply.
Insurance companies do this a lot when you claim. Banal and 'obvious' questions but where it is more what you don't say than do which matters.

Hi folks,
one more question, I live in an accommodation where council tax is included in the rent and the utility bills are in the landlord name though I pay them with the rent whatever bill comes.
So how should I respond to this question? Please advise.
Evidence of council tax costs for the accommodation in the UK where you live or will live
This evidence is not needed but is preferred. You must check this box even if you are not giving this evidence to show that you have understood this

Thanks a lot for your comment ! I put as below :
"My husband and I have four young children here. All of them goes to school. They and also us (parents) have built a social life in the UK. In case of application refusal, their education could be jeopardized. So the children would be greatly affected."

There are two checkboxes one for Tenancy Agreement and the other for council tax...I am just wondering if I do not click on the council tax checkbox , will that make any issue in the application because it says "You must check this box even if you are not giving this evidence to show that you have understood this"
