Reference Letter for SET (LR)

I am submitting my ILR application under the long residence. Do I need to provide reference letters from friends to support my private life, good character etc.? If so, how many letters are required?

No, ILR LR requires limited documents to be presented and character ref letter does not appear to be one of them.

Thanks, what are the typical documents one would submit apart from the ones mentioned on the application form?

ILR LR has got the least documentation requirements I think. So when you fill the form if there are others that applies to you it will come up.
