ILR Application start date

Hello everyone. I am applying for my ILR and got a bit confused with the following question in the application form:

When did you first enter the UK?
(This is the date you entered the UK when the period of stay you are basing this application on started)

I came to the UK for a master degree (Tier 1). Afterwards, I received offer and applied for Tier 2. I went to Russia to see family before starting my work, I came back to the UK two weeks before my start day. It appeared that my BRP got lost. I applied for a new one, received it and started working.

So the question is which date I need to enter here?
a) First day I arrived to the UK for studying
b) When I arrived to the UK for work (2 weeks in advance, I was on Tier 1 Student visa)
c) When my first BRP should have arrived (lost one)
d) When my second BRP arrived

What is the basis of your ILR application? Is it a Long Residence application, spousal ILR application, etc?

I think the OP is under Tier 2. THe answer to the date question is not important. You can put the date you enter the UK at the very first time. That question has NO effect on your application
