10 years Partner route, ILR

Post by had15 » Thu Oct 14, 2021 11:08 am

Hello everyone, I am bit confused about my wife ILR, If you guys can help me please

I entered in UK in 2009 on a student visa and got my PSW in 2012 and then my wife came as my dependent in 2012, after changing different applications I got my ILR in 2019 and my kids who born here were granted citizenship in 2019 as well when I applied for my wife visa on parent route in Jan 2020 but instead of that they have give her 30 months visa on 10 years partner route, and said you can apply for ILR after completing 10 years on this route, my questions is

My wife came in this country in 2012 and now on partner route since Jan 2020, does she need to wait another 8byears for ILR or she can apply for ILR in April 2022

Thank in advance

She can apply under long residence SET(LR) in April 2022 assuming she has 10 years of lawful and continuous residence in total

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... -residence
