Spelling discrepancies in surname

Post by ansufa » Wed Nov 24, 2021 10:14 pm

I am about to apply for a spouse visa for my wife, but I have noticed there is a discrepancy in the spelling of her surname on the documents that need to be sent, where the last two letters of her surname are swapped around.

The passport says “Alkadri” but marriage certificate shows “Alkadir”. Would this cause any problems. If so, there any way around this?

Thanks for your help.
