Hi
On 7th August I discovered my wife's affair. On staying up in shock to review the evidence I wrote to the HO on the morning of 8th August to inform them that our relationship had ended.
By the time her Spouse Visa cancellation letter arrived giving her 60days before exit on 01/01/22 we have reconcile and recovered from this. I emailed the HO SRU to ask them to reconsider their decision as we are not divorcing.
She has been in the UK since 2017 and was only several months away from being able to apply for citizenship etc. We have been married since 2002 living for 16yrs in Hong Kong. We have two children.
Does my email amount to a request to Reconsider? Does such a thing exist? What else can be done to ask the HO to re-think?
The easy legal advice is to re-apply however, this just puts the process back to zero which is most frustrating! And a waste of money.
Any guidance appreciated....
