PSW Rejected for a missing Document

Post by sivavikram » Mon Oct 27, 2008 9:19 am

Hi,

I had applied for psw visa and have just received the decision letter from home office along with my passport and an appeal form. The reason for the refusal was that I had failed to provide a letter from the institution at which I studied towards my MSc. The letter had to confirm

> My name
> Title of Qualification
> Period of Study
> Date of Award

So, the point now is that, out of shear bad luck/ mis-interpretation of the guidelines, I had sent my MSc Degree Certificate( Instead of the Letter from the Institution) which has all the above information. But they needed the letter from my institution which somehow is more important.

What I want to know is that can I make an appeal now, attaching the Letter from institute this time, do I have any grounds at all.

Appeal within time, perhaps on the grounds that the caseworker could have used discretion to request the missing document. Submit the document for consideration.
