We applied via standard service, biometric UKVS apt on 28 August. Primary ancestry holder and spouse approved 8/12/21 (Wed), 18+ son also approved same day (actually 2 hrs earlier than primary visa holder). Our other son also 18+ still waiting for decision 11/12/21 (Sat). We applied on separate SET(O) forms for both adult sons (who were under 18 when arriving in U.K.). We attended same UKVS appointment and the son who is still waiting for a confirmation letter that his application had been lodged (a few seconds before parents, and we were approved).
Is it usual that one of our sons is still waiting for an outcome several days later when his application was identical to his brothers and their personal circumstances are similar (both living at home but recently started working full time)?
It took nearly 4 months for our ILR decisions. I’m hoping he won’t have to wait another 2 months. Surely U.K. immigration would know that he is a dependent child? He had his BRP replaced after being lost last December but I assume it is still linked to primary ancestry visa holder?
Has anyone had similar experience with family members getting decisions spread apart? Should we be concerned? Should we contact premium service seeking update? It hasn’t been 6 months yet. We did applications ourselves.
