First time British passport application from outside UK

Hi - I have had my naturalization application approved but by the time I have my ceremony I will likely have moved to the US for work. Does anyone have experience in making a first time British passport application from outside the UK (in this case likely to be in NYC). Understand it will probably take longer than if I applied in the UK, but less concerned with processing timeline, more concerned if there will be any kind of potential issues.

There have been at least two reported instances on these forums when a first British passport application from abroad has triggered a review of the underlying naturalisation itself, as one of the requirements of naturalisation is that you intend to reside in the UK for the foreseeable future (the future intentions requirements).
