Hello,
Here is the situation.
She came to the US as an exchange student for a year. Then left back home and completed her bachelor's at home. Then applied for Masters in this school, got visa and graduated just now. Right now she is admitted to Phd program. She wants to visit her home again this summer.
Now the question is:
How likely is she to get visa? I know she got visa 2 years ago, but is visa officer going to be suspicious she didn't visit home during that time? Is s/he going to be suspicious she's been in the US for 3 years in total now?
And last question: is it more likely for her to get visa after a year from now (when she will have done 30% of her phd program) ?
I just think maybe now visa officer might think "Well she's done with her masters...and been there for 3 years...she might wanna stay there..." but if she is in the middle of her phd program they might not wanna disrupt it like that.
What are your thoughts?
