Now that I have my original documents returned, it is annoying that I was requested on 22/12 for additional information. I got my birth certificate, passport and 2 forms of ID back, so obviously they had been scanned and received. Yet on 22/12 they asked me to send this in again, which has now delayed my estimated date until 08/03.

Tracker has also not been updated since my documents were delivered (as of 17.02.2022). I have contacted the passport office via chat and have been told that they have received my documents on 07.02.2022 and my application is now being processed with an estimated date of 13.04.2022.

I think there is an issue with the tracker now that it does not get updated but the application is being processed.

My original documents are blocked & tried calling/web-chat multiple times - they have no clue, other than we are processing your application; all we know what is shown on tracker; if any update you will see on tracker. That's it.
I really need my original documents back for number of things here.

My husband sent everything on Jan.27, Anpost confirmed the delivery on Jan. 31st. The tracker doesnt work for him (same for me) but on the chat the info is that his documents must be on a pile, waiting to be processed. I sent all the same day and it was processed 2 weesks ago and have an estimate delivery date already.

My passport card was delivered today. The turnaround time for me was +-30 workings days from the day they received my documents.

My journey is completed. Well, I am still waiting for my supporting documents to be sent back to me.

Final Update

Got my supporting documents back today. This was two working days after my passport card was delivered on the 24th of February 2022. My documents are in good shape i.e. not damaged at all.

Good news! Got my passport today. Tracker went from Processing to Dispatched, no printing phase.

1. For those who applied in 2022, how long did it take to get your non-Irish passport/supporting documents back?
2. Did your esimated issuing date ever get pushed back? I am to go on holiday later in May, my first time out of the country in two years.
