Need some advice on 10 year route for ILR

Post by DeepakVDavid » Mon Jan 17, 2022 6:45 pm

I have completed my ten years in the UK and would like to apply for ILR. Now my wife(working in UK) and son (my son was born in India) has only completed 8 years and 3 months in the UK.
I have a daughter who was a born in UK and is 7 years old now.

Was just wondering if we could all apply for ILR at the same time or I apply now and then wait for my wife and son complete 10 years to apply for their ILR.

Please suggest.

To get ILR under long residence, you must qualify on your own and apply on your own. The concept of dependant does not exist. You can get ILR now and your dependants should switch to the partner route until eligible for ILR themselves. Your UK born child can be registered as British when you get ILR
