Dear All

Am going to India in March to see my fiancee and I havent decided whether to get marry in India or bring her over here as a Fiance and marry here in The UK.So, if I have to Sponsor my Fiancee.
1.What are the requirments?
2.How long does it take to get a Fiancee visa after submission of Application?
3.What is the fee in India for Fiance Visa?
4.Does she need to take English Test in India before Visa is Granted?
5.Also is there a need for Tuberculosis Test too.

Hi Harvey,

Yes, your fiancé requires IELTS Life skill A1 test certificate as well as TB Test certificate before go to the UK for both Fiancé and spouse Visa.
There would be same fees for Fiancé visa as Spouse visa, so better option is you come to India and get marry with your second half in India only and bring her to the UK on Spouse Visa, in this way you can save 1523 Pounds.
Nowadays they are taking a lot of time for both (Spouse & Fiancé Visa) even more than 6 months, So cant be said any certain time limits for the visa.
