Proof of cohabitation set (M) ILR

Hi all,

I am currently completing my ILR and I am getting really confused about the proof of cohabitation.

From everywhere I searched, the information is to provide proof of cohabitation for at least 2 years pre application period.
However, after completing a draft of my application, the checklist is stating 6 letters and/or other documents addressed to you and your partner at the same address to show that you have been living together during
the past 2.5 years.

I was granted my extension visa in Sept 2019 and I was planning of starting the proof of cohabitation as from January 2020 to January 2022 which would make an exact 2 years.

Does that mean that I need to provide proof as from July 2019 even if it is before I was granted my visa extension or can I just provide a proof right after my extension visa was granted, i.e around sept/oct 2019?

Sorry for the long post, I am maybe overthinking the whole thing but I really need your help on this.
