British CItizenship Application query

Can someone please advise me as am currently applying for British citizenship. I have some few questions if anyone can share advise or your experiences will be very much appreciated.

My passport is expired and am just awaiting for the new one. On the application, if you cant provide valid passport it ask for another National Identity instead. Can i put my BRP details as a national identity card as I have none other than my driving license which is not valid.

On the application where it ask about the previous visa, entry clearance or ILR to tell more about it does this mean that I can just put the number of that said VISA?

Can I travel once I have submitted my application?

In terms of a passport, do what it says here - go with "other" and explain the circumstances.

You can travel away from the UK.
