Applying for settled status

Hi
I’m non eu citizen married to eu . We have kid together I have pre settlement and I want to apply for settled status . I was working in company for 2 years then in time of covid they stopped me and I didn’t work for 2 years now but my wife is working . Is that can be problem if I apply or not ?

For Settled Status employment is not a requirement - it's based on residency,
