Spouse Visa Required Documents

Hi All,

I am applying for my wife's spouse visa and I am a bit confused regarding required documents.The application form (visas-immigration.service.gov.uk) which I filled online states the only required documents are:

• Mandatory documents:
  
  • The passport or travel document for XXXX from Brazil.
  • Copy of the bio data page of the passport or travel document for XXXX from British Citizen

• Other documents
  
  • The language test certificate for XXX to prove the level of English language required
  • Proof of relationship to your partner - for example, marriage or civil partnership certificates
  • One proof of British citizenship for XXX (such as a passport or UK citizenship certificate)

So I do not understand when/where we have to provide proof of my finances, proof of our relationship and other documents which are stated on some legal websites?

The list on the website of UKVI or when you fill the application not exhaustive. Guarantee refusal if proof of finances, relationship, English language ability etc are not included.
