ILR holder naturalisation application for British citizen spouse

Hello All,

I recently received an approval on my naturalisation application (ILR based) and will have my naturalisation ceremony tomorrow (14 Feb 2022).
My spouse is an ILR holder and can apply for naturalisation end of April 2022 based on 12 months on their own.
But since I will get my naturalisation certificate on 14 Feb 2022, my spouse can apply as British citizen spouse.

My question is:
- do we need to wait until I get my first adult British passport for my spouse to submit their naturalisation application?

OR

- can my spouse submit their naturalisation application based on my naturalisation certificate, i.e., there is no need to wait for me to get my British passport?

If possible, could you please provide a reference/link to the above cases?
