Switch from Tier 2 PBS Dependant to Family Visa - Online application query

Hi,
I am currently on Tier 2 PBS Dependant visa on my husband which is expiring end of Feb 2022. My husband was on Tier 2 ICT and got ILR in May 2021. I am now in the process of switching my Tier 2 PBS dependant visa to Family visa - as spouse of a settled person. I would really appreciate advice on below questions regarding my visa online application -
1. Your current permission to be in the UK -
What type of visa, leave to enter or remain or other permission do you have to be in the UK?
• Visit
• Work
• Study
• Family
• Status under the EU Settlement Scheme
• Settlement
• Other
I am confused if answer should be ‘Family’ or ‘Other’. I think it should be ‘Family’ as I am on Tier 2 PBS dependant visa on my husband which is a family route?

2. Is this the first time you have applied for a partner route, or an extension, with your current partner (including as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner)?
I think answer should be ‘No’ as I am on currently on PBS Tier 2 Dependant visa on my husband which is a family route?


3. Reason for extension
Please choose the reason you are applying for an extension, this includes if you are switching to a partner visa from another type.
(Required)
• First extension as a partner (following an initial period of entry as a partner, or as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner of a settled person)
• Additional extension as a partner
• First application as a partner from within the UK (for example, you are currently in the UK on another type of visa or permission to stay)
• You delayed your travel to the UK by more than 3 months after the issue of a visa and have not yet completed the required amount of time on a partner visa (not including as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner)
• You require more time to meet the Knowledge of Language and Life in the UK requirements to apply for settlement
• You were granted entry as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner, but have not yet married or entered into a civil partnership
• You are applying for any other reason
I am confused between option 2 and 3.
I think it should be option 2 (Additional extension as a partner) as I am currently on PBS Tier 2 Dependant visa and switching to Family visa for extension?

Is the Tier 2 PBS dependant visa not considered as a family/partner visa? I am bit confused with your response to question 1 as I always thought my husband visa is Work visa whereas I am on a family dependant visa (probably I am wrong?). Will I be considered as on Work visa too?

They are different paths, you might be a dependant and family of the main T2/skilled worker I.e. your husband however does not translate to family/partner visa/route for immigration purposes.
