ILR Application: Working outside UK for extended periods

I have recently joined a UK-based company on a Tier 1 Visa. I may be expected to work at locations outside the UK like Dublin for 6 months at a time. I would like to apply for ILR once I have been with the company for 6 years.

Question:
Would my ILR application be declined due to periods of work outside the UK in excess of 3 months per year or more than 15 months in total?
