Also, will be waiting for a spouse visa to be granted while awaiting child's birth. What would happen if we got the spouse visa granted and at the same time our child was born outside of UK. Obviously, it would take good few months before we could obtain child passport. I know that spouse visa allows certain amount of days for the applicant to move to the UK.
At the moment it's 90 days.

Could she travel to UK for day and then leave (return to her child in Poland) and then return to UK again once baby's passport is issued?

CAT B Financial requirements and loans

Post by reddevil93 » Wed Mar 02, 2022 9:58 am

Good morning,

Spouse Visa - Financial requirements under CAT B

1. If sponsor made £16,000 gross in the last 12 months prior to application, could he just find another job and make up the remainder (£2600 to meet the £18,600 threshold) even if that took 1 month and apply for a spouse visa then? Or does he have to still work for 6 months before applying?

2. Could cash savings that came from credit card money transfer be combined/used towards meeting financial requirements under Cat B? Lets say sponsor’s gross in the last 12 months was £16,000 he finds new employer and intends to apply for a visa straight away. Could savings of £15,000 be used towards meeting £18,600 threshold (combined with £16,000 gross).

Kind regards,

Locked
