Significant delay in application processing -- seeking advice

Post by jjyyttuugg » Mon Mar 07, 2022 5:00 pm

Hi,

I have applied for a skilled worker visa on January 18th, and also paid the premium processing fee, a total of 784 EUR. The website suggested that with this extra payment, the processing is guaranteed to finish within 5 working days.

Today marks 35 working days since then. In the meantime, on February 1st I was informed that the decision had been made, and I would need to wait for up to 10 working days to receive it over email. That did not happen.

Then, on February 14th, after using the uk.gov website to contact UKVI, my case has been escalated. I received an email suggesting that I would receive feedback within 15 working days -- which again did not happen.

Today I was able to escalate again, and was promised contact within the next 15 working days. Unfortunately, at this point I'm doubtful about any significance of this promise.

Is there any other/additional action I could take at this point?
