Need advice regarding meeting financial requirement

Post by Shafski » Fri Mar 11, 2022 1:40 am

Hi I was wondering if you could give me advice regarding the financial requirement for spouse visa. I was reading through the financial requirement document but I'm having a hard time understanding it as there's just so much content. I'm hesitant to pay for a solicitor as I only know ones that charge a full fee for the application, which I haven't had any issues with, it's just this section, and not sure on anyone who'd fill the section out for me or assist for payment just for that section.

This is my current situation below which I would be grateful for advice on what financial requirement to use;

I am the sole director/employee of a limited company - which I provide locum healthcare services. I took dividends of £15.6k 4 months ago. I pay myself monthly £760 from my company. My cash savings are £42k currently but this is only as of 4 months ago, where I transferred a bulk sum of my dividends & expenses. Prior to that my cash savings were £9k.

I also have had £8k+ in a help to buy ISA over the last year. I don't have any audited/unaudited accounts for my company, I have just submitted my usual accounts myself at the end of financial years. What would be the easiest way to show my financial requirements?

You need to evidence your income under Category F and provide evidence which includes Dividends & Payslips.
My opinions should not be constituted as an immigration or legal advice.

Ah so will I need to get my accounts audited? This is the part I was hoping to avoid

Entry Visa to UK estimated date?

Post by Shafski » Wed Mar 16, 2022 10:41 pm

Hi, I'm filling the spouse visa application on behalf of my wife and have come to this section;

What date do I put if I plan on submitting it in the next week or so?

Because my wife doesn't plan on coming to permenantly stay here until August 2022 as thats when she finishes her job. If she needs to come here for anything beforehand it would be for a short period, as she's still finishing the academic year (shes a teacher) before leaving her work and coming here to say.

Confirmed offer of employment

Post by Shafski » Wed Apr 06, 2022 11:58 pm

Hi, a bit confused by this question. Filling the application on behalf of my wife who I am sponsoring - question is about myself as I am meeting the financial requirement alone through self employment of a limited company. I am already working, so am I correct in saying this should be ticked as no?

Check your previous responses, hope not that you are filling or said yest to a question about getting an employment to start within 3 months of returning to UK. Or have you stated you are not presently I the UK but returning to reside with your wife accompanying you?
