entry with expiring foreign passport

My wife has filipino passport and Settled status in UK. Her passport is expiring at the beginning of August. Her UK residence card expires in ~10years. Still waiting for the filipino consulate to renew her passport. We were thinking of going abroad for Easter. Turkey seems to allow entry as long as 60days left after the length of the visa (30days). Provided we can get to Turkey (which I am not sure since the airline might disregard turkish law and not allow her to board), what about the re entry to UK? Is she going to be allowed in given her residence card is definitely not expiring but her passport will have less than 6months left to expiry?

You must have a valid passport to enter the UK. It should be valid for the whole of your stay.

Should be fine.
