Documents support for British citizen by nationalisation

Post by Nop » Mon Mar 07, 2022 7:27 am

Hello there.

I obtained my ILR on 22 June 2021 via Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Migrant and planning to apply for a British citizen by nationalisation on 23 June 2022. In my ILR application, I submitted documents to support my evidence of accommodation e.g., Council tax bills, utilities bills and etc. In the online form for Nationalisation application, they ask me to provide supporting documents for resident requirement which is entry passport stamp but they didn't ask about evidence of accommodation. Kindly advice whether or not I should in include evidence of accommodation and upload supporting documents.

Kind regards,
Nop

"Naturalisation" is not an immigration apllication (like ILR) and the requirements are separate under different law and regulations. There's only a minimum of documents required.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

hello

This is not related to this post but I need some help and wondered if you could shed some light. I saw that you had excess absences and had compassionate circumstances. May I ask did you submit the compassionate requirements due to family matters? And did Home Office query it?

Thank you very much for your help

OP hasn't submit application yet - no mention of excess absences.
Perhaps it' best you start your own thread. Please review the UKVI guidance which has a separate section on "Absences from the UK": https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... _final.pdf
