Student Visa to Spouse

Post by hamid84 » Thu Nov 06, 2008 4:59 pm

I recently got ILR ( i was on asylum ). I married last year with student and now we have a 6 months old son as well.

Her visa expires in Feb so just need to know what can be done now? Can she switch her visa to spouse visa as i hold ILR.

We did not get COA but married in islamic way.

Thanks

Assuming that she will be at least 21, I think that she will need to apply for a COA and marry at a registrar, in order for her marriage to be recognised. Subsequently, she may apply for FLR(M) (285) and SET(M) (288).
