Hi all
My girlfriend who is a Russian Citizen and US Green Card holder is hopefully visiting me in here in the UK in early December.
She has already visited me in the UK three times this year:
July - 1 week
October - 1 week
October - 1 week (2nd visit in October)
She has a UK visitor visa which expires in the middle of December, shortly after she would fly back to the US.
We have plans to get married next year and she is coming here for 1 week only in December to visit me, my family, and help find somewhere for us to live next year. Next year she will hopefully come over on a Fiance visa and we can get married.
I am very worried that the UK immigration official could deny her entry, based upon her previous number of visits to the UK this year (3) and also the fact that her UK visitor visa will expire about a week or so after she would leave the UK.
I don't want anything to jeopardise this visit or our ability to get married next year and for her to apply for FLR. The UK immigration official was very off with her in her last visit and wanted her to admit that she was here to see her boyfriend. She was honest and admitted that yes she was but that she would be staying only for one week, which was true. She is now back in the US.
Any useful comments/suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

She could not reasonably be refused entry on the basis of the visits she made and provided your existence was not denied on her visa application.

So should she carry a letter from her employer in the US, bank statement, proof of tax filing and a letter from me?

maxnn,
Relax, you are worrying un-necessarily. She has done and intends to do nothing other than what the visa has been issued for. In other words she has complied with all conditions of issue and neither you nor she has anything to worry about.Trust me.
The documentation you have suggested she travel with is not necessary as all checks would have been done prior to the issuance of the visa.

Hi
Thanks guys for your replies. I know that we aren't doing anything wrong but I wouldn't want an immigration officers decision to really talk to up our plans. We are determined to make this work and therefore intent on doing this by the book.
Thanks for taking the time out of your evening to reply!

By all means she could bring these things if it will make you (or her) feel happier. But I agree with the others that there is unlikely to be any trouble: in fact, if anything, her recent immigration history in the UK suggests that she is more likely, not less, to be making a bona fide visit.
