start and end date for surcharge for PBS dependant

Hi all experts,

I really need your help on clearing the confusion about which link to click on when selecting form for PBS dependant visa extension.

As far as I know, the following is the link for the application form for the extension of PBS dependant with the main applicant ILR- based on the Tier2 route

Once I click on the above link, I am not sure which link I have to click on out of the following two sections.

1. Apply from inside the UK (extend or switch their visa)
Your partner or child can apply to extend or switch their visa either:

at the same time as you apply to extend or switch your own visa- DO I CLICK HERE ?
at any time before their current visa expires

Or

2. How to apply
Your partner and children must apply online to either:

extend or switch to your Skilled Worker visa as your partner- Or DO I click HERE
extend or switch to your Skilled Worker visa as your child

really appreciate your help in following query
I am stuck while paying for IHS surcharge for my PBS dependant visa extension which is expiring on 24-05-22.

i have PBS dependant visa based on my husband's ILR on 5 years Tier 2 route which has an expiry date of 31-12-24 on the BRP card.

although I need 6 months to get qualified for ILR, I know I need to apply for 3 years extension, SO i am choosing the following start and end date for the IHS surcharge

Start date: 24-04-22 which is today's date
end date : 24-04-25, this covers three years.

1. Is that the correct date I have chosen?

going forward, It asks me my husband's visa expiry date .

His ILR BRP expires on 31-12-24 which is earlier than the end date i have selected for my work

2. so is that ok to put my husband's visa expiry date as 24-04-25 or this is dishonesty?
The dilemma is if I put the correct date of 31-12-24, this will not count as the correct surcharge and my work end date will not be valid because it needs to cover three years.

3. His visa route I have selected is a skilled worker and visa type is skilled worker short occupation 3 years. Is this correct?
Appreciate your help, please.

I am in the same situation as you. Can you please tell me what did you apply with finally?

1. Did you enter the start date as the date of application and the end date calculated to include 3 years? I don't need the entire 3 years of extension as I ll be eligible for ILR application in 1.5 years but as I understand I ll still need to get an extension for 3 years.

2. Did you use the ILR end date of your husband's BRP of 31 - 12 - 2024? Or did you match the 'work end date' to your husband's brp end date?

This is quite urgent as I am running out of time. Your experience would be very helpful to me.
