Apply for Naturalization with an expired passport

Hi,

I need some help, I am applying for my wife’s British naturalization, she has ILR and I am a British citizen, her Indian passport expired in December 2021, I cannot use the online form as its not accepting expired passport.

Is it ok to send the postal form as it is not asking for a valid passport?

I would appreciate any advise!
