Name mistake on Vignete visa sticker in passport

Hello,

My child's PBS dependent visa sticker has name printed with a typo mistake. But the visa letter name is correct. could you please suggest what to do now?
is it good to travel or get in touch with HO for name correction?
My child has previous 2 visas to UK which were correct but the latest one has the name mis spelled. Any help in this regard is appreciated

Ok Thanks a lot for pointing to the link. It has got info if the visa type is be changed i guess.

My specific case is that last 2 letters on the name are not printed.

but the visa letter has got the full name printed. It is the visa sticker pasted on the passport has got a mistake.

any suggestions on what to do ?

If there’s an error in your vignette

If you notice an error in your vignette, you should contact your visa application centre immediately to correct it before you come to the UK.

If you notice the error after you’ve arrived in the UK, you must report it to UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) within 3 months of arriving or you’ll need to make a new application.

How much time do you have before traveling? If the Stupid allow child to travel, then it should be okay to ask the UKVI to correct it within 3 months after arrival in the UK.

oh ok . Travel is planned in the first week of may. I have sent an email to visa application centre. I shall update here when I get a reply from them

Hello,
Could some one confirm that the length of name on vignete visa 36 charecters including the spaces?

last 2 chaercters were not printed on passport stikcer. It was printed upto 36 letters and stopped.

your help in this regard is appreciated.

Exceeding the printable character limits looks like a possible explanation for the missing characters. Were there any “.” at the end of the line?
