https://www.gov.uk/guidance/visiting-th ... ss-citizenYou cannot use an EU, EEA or Swiss national ID card to enter the UK unless you:
have settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme, or Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man’s settlement schemes
have an EU Settlement Scheme family permit, or the equivalent from Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man
have a frontier worker permit
are an S2 Healthcare Visitor
are a Swiss national and have a Service Provider from Switzerland visa
In these cases, you can continue to use your national ID card to enter the UK until at least 31 December 2025.
If I understand correctly, it doesn't make much sense to request the certificate of entitlement sticker (which costs few hundred Pounds) if I can just show my EU Id card and the naturalisation document. However, as you are a British citizen you can travel to the UK border with the ID card and then simply show your naturalisation certificate to the officer. Note that as long as you prove you are British at the UK border, you will go through. No need for any other document
I was very clear that you do not need COE. I was also very clear that the naturalisation certificate can be usedffederico wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 1:19 pmThanks Zimba!

Could I face issues if I also show to EU passport without the certificate of entitlement sticker?
Thanks
